Minutes later, they confirmed the reports of a shooting.
Businesses in the area were locked down for several hours.
Some schools have also been placed in a modified lockdown status.
The schools system says the modified lockdowns are being conducted in an abundance of caution, they ask parents for their patience.

In a statement Harford County Public Schools said, "Our schools are secure at this time and we ask for your patience and understanding that we are receiving an influx of calls."
One business owner told FOX45 they were told there was an active shooter and advised them to go back in the building.
Another nearby business said they heard loud arguing before ambulances arrived on scene.
The Sheriff's office says all of the victims were employees of the business. They have not been identifed.
